Ordering your test kit for delivery
- Please go to Invivo Healthcare to order your GI Ecologix Test kit
- Select Register in top right corner as a new client
- Add your name and details, email address and select a password
- Enter the clinician code as: KZ38IQ_815 This code is not case sensitive.
- Select your contact preferences and read the terms and conditions, select Register
- Once you are registered – select ‘Diagnostics’ from the top menu bar and scroll down to find GI Ecologix Gastrointestinal Health & Microbiome Profile (£359) OR use the Search for ‘GI Ecologix’ and select this test
- Add this test to your basket, proceed to Checkout, add delivery information
- When you add an Irish delivery address to the system, this will automatically add the £25 courier fee for returning your test samples.
When you receive your test kit
- The instructions are detailed so please read carefully before proceeding. We always recommend to use the collection tray rather than paper collection device.
- You will need to wait at least 2 weeks after taking antibiotics or 4 weeks after colonic irrigation. Please stop taking probiotic supplements 3 days before the test and probiotic foods at least 5 days before. If you are taking a PPI (antacid medication) it might be helpful to stop for 1-3 days only IF possible – discuss with your Nutritionist.
- Just one small stool sample is required, with a small amount of the sample to be sent in the three sample tubes provided. Please follow the instruction sheet carefully and do NOT overfill the tubes. *Important – to avoid leaked samples that cannot be processed by the lab, please push the lid and plunger on the eNAT vial fully on the vial until you hear a click. There is resistance and you will need to push hard enough until the lid clicks to ensure it is closed correctly. We strongly recommend that you watch this video before taking your sample to ensure you follow the correct process
Shipping your sample
- A sample taken on Sunday or Monday morning is suitable – the day prior to shipping or the morning of shipping if possible (although 48 hour window is acceptable). Please organise return shipping of your sample on Monday or Tuesday only.
- Your test kit from Invivo Healthcare will include a pre-paid return UPS Clinical Pack and U3373 labelling for a clinical sample. NOTE It should also include an ‘Invoice’ page with value of £0.01 – this is needed for customs since Brexit, please do not ship your sample unless this is included in your pack.
- Please go to the UPS website to organise a collection or call 01 524 5446 if you do not have access to a computer
- Select the tab ‘Shipping’ and select the option ‘Schedule a Collection’
- Enter the tracking number from your pre-printed UPS shipping label provided
- Enter your own details (not Invivo company details) in the Collection Information section
- Under Service and Package Information: The package will weigh less than 1Kg and please select ‘UPS Express’ under the UPS International Services
- Select collection dates and time and notification preferences

Test Results
- The test results will be returned to your nutritionist 3 weeks after receipt of the samples. Test results will be interpreted by your nutritionist and a protocol tailored accordingly
- We recommend a 60 minute consultation to review these comprehensive results
- Please note that a letter with your results may be sent to your GP
